What I love about the book is that is really goes over everything that children will be learning in Kindergarten. I showed my mother in law the book (she is a kindergarten teacher) and she said she has never seen a book with so much information that the kids really do need to know, or will learn! I love how every page is interactive for child and parent. Sam and I have a lot of fun going over each page every night, she is learning but to her she is having fun and spending time with mommy.

I would love to have this set for my daughter. She is young now and I think that it is important to introduce these books early in order to keep her excited about attending school one day. I remember how scared I was when I started school and I would love to make the transition for her as easy as possible.

I'd love to win the kindergarten book for my daughter so she can mentally prepare for the transition. She seems to grasp new concepts well from books. Like I read her a lot of books about becoming a big sister now that I'm pregnant with her baby brother. She really understands the concept of what is going to happen and it's helping her to be excited about the upcoming changes.

I never knew books like this even existed! My son could really use these books. My dd is 5 and she's finishing 1st grade math and reading (I'm a homeschooler), but I want her to know all the non-3R things too, you know? I would have trouble deciding who to give it to. My husband has a nephew, and 2 nieces and I have one niece all starting kindergarten this year.I would probably give it to one of his nieces. I would feel blessed to win these to help my five year old prepare. He has autism and I have been homeschooling him. I often read input from various sources to give me fresh ideas of thing to try next. My son is doing incredible, but it seems to be mostly by trial and error, as each autistic child is so very different.
Mind you I have other children older and younger than this one. However, he is the one in the right age range and the one who most needs more resources.
