You Can Make This Giveaway!

You Can Make This!

THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED!

Alright all you crafter's out there I have one amazing giveaway you don't want to miss!

In celebration of You Can Make This' SECOND Birthday we are going to celebrate here on MommyMandy!

When You Can Make This launched in 2006, it started off small. I had just started making hair bows and all of the girls who also made hair bows sent me to YCMT because I was interested in learning to sew. I was told they had wonderful and easy patterns to choose from. One of the first I bought was cutiepatootiez Vertical Strip Twirl Skirt. I did change my skirt from vertical to horizontal. I love that this skirt literally takes me less than two hours to make from cutting fabric to finishing the last stitch!

I have seen many of my friend's e-books get featured and being so excited for each of them. In fact I myself am in the works of creating my own e-book to be featured. Well, I am crossing my fingers it gets featured!

The newest e-book I have added to my collection is the adorable Wrap Skirt. I absolutely love this design and am extremely excited to make it! Now to see if I can get it a bit bigger for Sam.

YCMK offers many patterns for those just starting to sew, to those experts out there. Over the past two years YCMT has grown incredibly popular. They also offer free e-books.

They also offer giveaways over at their blog! You can also win YCMT points! When you have accumulated so many points you can use them to "purchase" those e-books you have been eyeing!

Well in Celebration and also as a "Thank You" You Can Make This is giving THREE of my readers a chance to win TWO of their amazing e-books.

WIN:
The winners (there will be THREE) will be able to pick any one e-book that they like AND they will ALSO receive the "Easy-Fit" Pants by CarlaC Dolly designs.

ENTER:
To enter, please visit You Can Make This, and take a look around. Hopefully you wont get lost there and forget to come back here, trust me you will not be able to take your eyes off the site. There are so many amazing e-books. So after you have looked around, come back here and leave me a comment with your favorite e-book and why you would want to win it.

This giveaway will end on August 5th!

Remember you can sign up for the free newsletters, and as a subscriber you can receive free e-books! Trust me I know. I have received some pretty amazing e-books just being a subscriber to the newsletter!

I would love to win The Katelyn Tween & Teen Skirt 6yrs-Jr7/9. I have a 6 year old dd who is very very tall for her age and is wearing size 10/12. Once you get into these sizes I find that store bought clothes are generally not age appropriate for a 6 yr old in my opinion. I would love to be able to make her some skirts that a 6 year old would love and a mother wouldn't cringe to see her in. Thanks!!!

I have several YCMT patterns and LOVE them all! Next I'd like to get the Sweet Pea Verasatile Handbag or the Pouty Petticoat (or something like that) to go with the dresses I've been making lately from YCMT. You can see them at my blog, by the way! :-) http://mysimplegifts.blogspot.com

My wish list basically has everything on it!! How could I possibly choose? :0)

I've been sewing since I was a teen and now have 6 kids - 4 boys, 2 girls ranging in age from 18 mos to 14 years. I have despaired over the dearth of cute patterns for boys and was thrilled to find this site! I have an 11 year old daughter who is wanting to learn how to sew - and these projects would actually be ones she would be interested in making as well as wearing!

My youngest daughter is going to kindergarten this year and wants me to make her some "pretty stuff". She is a Princess with a capital P and loves skirts. SO, if I could only pick one - it would have to be the 3 Skirts in One!

    Thanks!

  11. gkstratos said...

TuTu Fun would be my pick. My daughter loves them and I haven't the slightest clue how to make one.

Oh I love this contest/giveaway! I have had my eye on the "Make an Apron Front Jumper Dress" from the pouty princess designs for ages, but can't spend the money. Oh it is so cute and just darling with all the options! My DD loves dresses too and that is about all she wears now. I need a new dress for her!

The Wrap Skirt...want it bad...to make for our granddaughter. THANKS :)

This was a hard thing to decide. I looked and looked and found a few. They must be by the same person b/c they have a bundle pack. I hope bundles are allowed...

The one I choose is Bundle Pack: Cloche, Ribbon Top, and Gauchos! I have been wanting to find a pattern for a cute newsboy cap for a long time and now I have found it. Then there is the top and pants. They are so cute and there is so much amazing fall fabric.

I love You Can Make This!!!!! If my husband knew how much money I spend at that site he would take my computer away from me.

    Thanks
    Trish in Louisiana

Decoupage Jeans. I saw a little girl wearing jeans like this in the movie theater. She looked a little younger than my 2 year old and I loved her pants and thought, Hey, I could probably do something like that... but I didn't know where to start. I would love to be able to learn how to do that!
