Camp Rock is a new Disney movie that came out a few months ago, it's one that all the kids are buzzing about, yes even my 5 year old.
The story centers on Mitchie- an ordinary girl who thinks she has to lie to fit in with the cool girls at an exclusive camp dedicated to talented young rockers. Over the course of the movie she learns from friends including a young rock star & enemies that all she needs to succeed is to be herself! It a great message for all young people but I thinks its the wonderful performance of Demi Lovato as Mitchie & Joe Jonas as the rock star & the great musical numbers that everybody will really love! The Jonas Brothers do perform a few songs in the movie. Overall a fabulous movie for your kids, trust me they are going to want this one to own!

This movie is set to release on Aug. 19th
Another one of my girls favorite characters is Hannah Montana. So when she saw this movie she freaked out and was so excited! Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus! many of you heard about the concerts and now the DVD is about to be released. Catch Hannah Montana / Miley Cyrus - Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour DVD it's been named the most anticipated 3-D DVD in Disney's 3-D history.
The movie opens with Miley backstage then cuts to the first performance by Hannah. You get to see all the backstage features and even choreography. It's all about the tour (you know the one that was so popular they showed it live in theaters) The 3D format gives the audience a nice sense of being there and includes some effective, if somewhat overused shots of the crowd waving, Hannah/Miley reaching out to the audience, and fun stunts like the drummer's twirling stick thrown high in the air and the guitar player's pick being tossed out into the audience. It's quite the cool 3-D movie although we enjoyed it without all the 3-D. It can be either, and the sound is great! Nothing like being there in person but what can you expect.
The Jonas Brothers even come on and perform an extra little bonus for all those tweens. I love Miley/Hannah's songs we just loved dancing and signing along. Some of the songs you will see her play include "Start All Over," "I Got Nerve," "I Miss You" (which Miley wrote in honor of her Granddad's passing), "Going Away," "GNO: Girl's Night Out," and "The Best of Both Worlds."

This weekend my girls and I watched Camp Rock on the disney channel and boy did we love it. My five and six year old girl have now been asking me everyday when I'll be able to buy it for them...unfortunately, our finances are so tight that even spending almost 20 dollars on a movie is not practical. We are just not in a very nice financial position to purchase anything "extra" right now.
Winning this would make my girls so very happy and myself included since we three had so much fun watching (2 times) this past weekend.

I would love to win the Camp Rock DVD for my husband's niece. She is obsessed with the Jonas Brothers. When you walk into her bedroom it is covered in Jonas Brothers posters from floor to ceiling (and yes, they even are on the ceiling). She would be so excited to have this DVD. Thanks for the contest!

My daughter's BFF since they were 4 years old (I feel like she is my own child!)has a daughter that would love either one of these. I would choose Camp Rock since they get lots of viewing time on TV for Hannah Montana/Miley cyrus. Thank you for the opportunity to win!
