Since I just had a baby 6 weeks ago, im doing everything I can to lose weight. We have started by changing ALL the food we eat in our home by eliminating soda and any junk food and replacing it with whole organic foods. We also do alot of walking

Congratulations on winning. I'll be emailing you.

Last month I received two amazing workout DVDs. They were from Tracey Mallett. Of course it took me a week or so to get off my tosh and try them out, and I am so glad I did!

The Total Body Fat Burner is a blast. These energetic, super effective segments focus on LOWER BODY with fun small interval circuit training, UPPER BODY/CORE with resistance training and finishes with rock hard abs on the ball.

The Total Body Calorie Blast is my personal favorite. This workout video is one of the companion video's to go with Tracey Mallett's book Sexy in 6. This program features cardio and mind-body 6-Minute Blasts. The Cardio Blasts use interval training to turn your body into a metabolism-burning, calorie-crunching machine. The mind Body Blasts fuse Pilates and Yoga-inspired moves to lean out that physique, and for 6-Pack Abs, try the Quick ABS Blast. You can pick and choose how many 6 minute sections you have time for or do Tracey's suggested daily combinations.

Tracey Mallett has many other amazing DVDs, I think the Cardio Kick Workout looks like so much fun and would love to try it.

be sure to buy the Sexy in 6: Sculpt Your Body with the 6 Minute Quick-Blast Workout (Hardcover) at Amazon.com. I definitely need to get this book.

Over all I really love these DVD's. I feel I have more energy, and it's only 6 minutes long. I normally do about three of the workouts, and that takes me all of 30 minutes! The awesome thing about it is I have already lost about 8 lbs in about 4 weeks now.

WIN:

I have one copy of the Total Body Calorie Blast to giveaway to one lucky reader.

ENTER:

to enter, leave me a comment telling me one thing you are doing to try and be healthier.

This giveaway will end on Aug. 20th

This is what I need!! The dear hubby and I have reached 50. We have started walking every night and are timing it. My husband is in the N. Guard and cannot pass the physical. He only has to reinlist for 6 more months in Feb. and he will be able to retire. If he can't make the PT(physical training)he will be put out and will lose retirement! Needless to say he needs to get in shape! So do it!

I am trying to get back into working out at home (via my Gazelle or work out videos). My husband is out of town a lot for work and it's just WAY too hot down here in coastal Texas to take my little boy out walking with me after work. Hopefully I can get back on the wagon. Thanks for the work out suggestion. It's always good to have a new one to use so I don't get stagnant with the same one.

To try and get healthier I am watching what I eat, and trying to add breakfast in to my daily eating routine so I'm not starving my body in to fat storage mode by not eating enough throughout the day. Normally I eat one or two medium meals a day, but I realize that's not the right way. It's tough, but I'm definitely seeing progress (esp when paired with diligence at the gym).

    Thanks for the entry.
