Polkadot papoose
When I was pregnant with Sarah I was on the hunt to find cute baby slings. I ended up with a New Native and although I did like it a lot it just was not the one I wanted. I only used it a few times and then it found it's place sitting in the closet.
After having Sarah I vowed to find myself something cute and of course a modern baby slings. When I found Polkadot Papoose a few months back I was in love. Not just because of the adorable patterns but they are reversible baby slings! I was so excited when I received mine in the mail. Of course I didn't have a baby to try it out on as we are TTC, so I had to use it with my friends newborn baby. I was in shock! This sling seriously feels like it was made for me.
I choose the Elizabeth pattern. Which is funny, I must really like this blue and brown polka dotted fabric as I have many other items from various stores with this same fabric! I also find that this is a pretty neutral fabric. Oh and baby blue is my favorite color!
“You are mistaken, Mr. Darcy, if you suppose that the mode of your declaration
affected me in any other way, than as it spared me the concern which I might
have felt in refusing you, had you behaved in a more gentleman-like
manner."
Elizabeth from Pride and Prejudice

I loved wearing my baby, and I was so sad when Sarah outgrew it. She is such a Mamma's girl and loves to cuddle. I of course would always recommend baby wearing to any new mom, especially if you have toddlers or older children. It really frees up your hands!
I also have to mention how much I love the way these beautiful slings come wrapped. They are already ready to go for gift giving too. Each sling is rolled so both fabrics are shown and tied with a beautiful satin ribbon. Of course each sling is accompanied by instructions on how to use the sling. Each sling also has a little pouch to hold baby's binkie. (Good thinking! I have binkie babies)

Very cute! Do you have a picture of you wearing it? I am in the market for some sort of new baby carrier when this one arrives (January). My problem is that I have serious back pain. The traditional padded sling didn't work. The Bjorn was okay until baby was about 10 lbs, then it became too painful. I have been looking at the Ergo carrier, which is supposed to be easy on the back...but I'm still looking.
This one is REALLY cute. How do your back and shoulders fare after using it?
(Sorry for asking so many questions)
