Toobeez- Giant tinker toys!

When we received our TOOBEEZ I was very excited. I never realized how amazing this toy was. My girls were very excited when our 57 piece kit the girls immediately wanted to try it out. So we sat down and started making things. The girls wanted a tent (of course).

TOOBEEZ are a giant, lift-size version of the classic children's construction set. From playhouses to super-forts, teepees, castles, lemonade stands and more, there's no limit to what your children can build with TOOBEEZ and their own imaginations.

After building with the girls I started looking over the Language Arts Activity Book and realized how perfect this would be at school too. The Toobeez Language Arts Activity Workbook includes detailed lessons on topics such as poetry, grammar, creative writing and reading comprehension. Play How To-Beez to teach your students how to write clear, step-by-step instructions to assemble a structure. In Sentence Switchers, students will learn to differentiate between complete sentences and sentence fragments. Conversation Car wash will help your students recognize dialog in writing and punctuate dialog correctly. I think the Language Arts book is for older grades but we were able to do activities with using "short pieces and long pieces". The kids had a blast.

What should we build next? How about the critical thinking skills, or the creative thought process? Learning is good!
